Wagner v. Grinnell Housing Development Funds (March 2000) was a jury trial in Supreme Court, New York County in which we obtained a defense verdict for our client, D & D Elevator and Maintenance Company. Here, plaintiff claimed serious personal injuries as the result of an elevator accident. Following a two-week trial, the jury determined that our client, who repaired the elevator, was not responsible for the accident. The other defendants in the case were found liable and the jury awarded the plaintiff damages in excess of $1,300,000.
