Mr.
Fromm has a wide range of experience as both a litigator
and business lawyer. In 1978, Mr. Fromm was appointed an
Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. During
his four years as an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Fromm
tried felony jury trials and argued numerous federal and
state court appeals. Mr. Fromm was also appointed a member
of the special litigation unit in which he handled some
of the offices most visible and complex cases.
Mr.
Fromm entered private practice in 1982 and developed a substantial
litigation, maritime, insurance, and transactional practice.
He has acted as lead trial counsel in several complex litigations
involving insurance coverage, maritime matters and international
commercial transactions. Mr. Fromm has litigated and tried
cases in jurisdictions all over the United States. Mr. Fromm
has also acted as outside general counsel for several mid-size
corporations, counseling them on all aspects of their business,
including contractual and litigation matters. Mr. Fromm
was also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at the Benjamin
N. Cardozo School of Law.
He
is a member of the Maritime Law Association, the Association
of the Bar of the City of New York, the American Bar Association
and the Association of Average Adjusters of the United States.
