David H. Fromm

About

Mr. Fromm has been representing clients before the state and federal trial and appellate courts and arbitration panels for more than 30 years. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Fromm was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New York. As an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Fromm tried numerous felony cases and argued more than a hundred federal and state court appeals. Mr. Fromm was also appointed to the special litigation unit where he handled some of the office's most visible and complex cases.

Mr. Fromm’s areas of practice include aviation, maritime, insurance coverage, defense of liabilities and international commercial litigation. He has acted as lead trial counsel in several complex litigations in jurisdictions throughout the United States.

Mr. Fromm graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his Juris Doctor, also magna cum laude, in 1978, from California Western School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and California, the federal courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, the Southern District of California, the Western District of Michigan, the District of Columbia and the District of Colorado and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Sixth, Ninth and Tenth Circuits.
